Abstract

First of all, we want to thank the readers of Dermatología Argentina because we have had a fruitful 2023. The comments regarding the published works are truly encouraging. We have many local and international followers, and we are going for more!

As usual, by competition, four new members of the Editorial Committee have been appointed who demonstrated high-level training, interest in scientific updating and research, as well as a willingness to participate, correct and improve our publications.

In an adverse reality for medicine like the one we are experiencing, finding dermatologists interested in academic work is surprising and hopeful. We congratulate those selected, and we say goodbye with much gratitude and affection to the excellent outgoing proofreaders.

The current challenge is to promote the development of more original articles, research and medical education.

We believe that we are still far from reaching the real potential that Argentine dermatologists have, which is based on a history of great figures, whose values and achievements have to be projected, and the new generations take them up to take them even further.
