Abstract

Juvenile xanthogranuloma (JXG) is a rare benign disease within non-Langerhans cell histiocytosis (NLHC). It is generally a pediatric pathology. 64% of skin lesions develop before 7 months of age and 85% before the first year of life. Only 10% manifest in adults, however, its real incidence is unknown since it may be underdiagnosed.
