Abstract

Treatment of actinic keratoses with 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) at 5% generates skin reactions of different intensity.

Topical 5-FU was used twice daily for 4 weeks for the treatment of actinic keratoses.

The patients rated the presence of skin reactions from absent, mild-moderate and severe.
