Erythroderma is a condition characterized by erythema and scaling involving at least 90% of the body surface. Its etiology can be variable. Most of its clinical features and laboratory abnormalities are nonspecific, making diagnosis challenging. Psoriatic erythroderma (PE) is a rare and infrequent form of psoriasis. The evidence in the literature examining treatment options for psoriatic erythroderma is of low quality. This lack of literature is likely a result of the low incidence of this form of psoriasis and the acuity with which patients can present, often requiring immediate pharmacological intervention for rapid disease control. This review work aims to provide updated information for the treatment of psoriatic erythroderma.
