Abstract

The therapeutic success of psoriasis treatments depends on different factors.
Different treatment regimens were evaluated in patients with moderate to severe psoriasis: topical, systemic non-biologic (conventional therapies) and biologic therapies, and related to alcohol consumption.
The study showed that alcohol abuse and obesity, among other factors, are associated with a lower therapeutic response rate to conventional psoriasis treatments.
