Abstract

Erythema annulare centrifugum is a recurrent, chronic, inflammatory cutaneous disease, of unknown etiology, characterized by annular erythematous papules. Several precipitating factors have been identified, being the infection causes one of the most common. An exhaustive study of the patient is essential in order to recognize secondary causes and to be able to carry out specific treatment. We present a 23-year-old patient with a superficial annular erythema probably induced by syphilis.
