Keywords:
cutis verticis gyrataAbstract
Cutis verticis gyrata is a rare scalp disease characterized by the formation of skin folds and furrows resembling the surface of the cerebral cortex. It is classified into primary (essential or nonessential) and secondary forms depending on whether or not it is associated with underlying disorders.
We present a case of primary essential CVG, and review the classification of this disease, which is fundamental for its diagnosis and treatment.
