Abstract

Superficial basal cell carcinoma

  • Basal cell carcinoma (BCC) is the most common malignant tumor. Basal keratinocyte drift. The superficial variety is the second most prevalent clinical subtype (30%).
  • Clinic: macula or erythematous plaque, well circumscribed.
  • It is located mainly on the trunk and limbs.
  • Dermoscopy: bright reddish-white structures, short and fine telangiectasias and multiple superficial ulcerations.
  • Treatment: surgery.
