Abstract

A 53-year-old man, with a personal history of insulin resistance, chronic hepatitis C virus and recently diagnosed liver cirrhosis, consulted for the presence of a pruritic dermatosis in the lower limbs, of one year of evolution. Physical examination revealed erythematous-violaceous plaques with irregular edges and a hyperkeratotic surface on the anterolateral aspect of both lower limbs, with excoriated areas.
