Abstract

Syringomas are common benign adnexal tumors derived from the ductal portion of the eccrine sweat glands. They are frequent in women of reproductive age and their usual location is periorbital. Presentation in postmenopausal women and the vulvar location is not usual.

There are multiple treatments but none is the first line.

We present the case of a postmenopausal patient who complains of itching lesions on the vulva. Histopathology confirmed the diagnosis of syringomas. Topical treatment was performed with 90 % trichloroacetic acid with good response.
