Abstract

Patients with atopic dermatitis can develop other allergic comorbidities, as well as bacterial infections and cutaneous and extracutaneous viruses, sometimes severe. Less frequently, other pathologies that should be investigated are indicated, such as neuropsychiatric conditions: anxiety, depression; obesity, type 2 diabetes; heart disease: myocardial infarction, coronary heart disease; neoplasms, especially lymphomas; autoimmune diseases: immune gastroenteritis, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, celiac disease; alopeciaareata.
