Abstract

57-year-old patient, from the province of Entre Ríos, with a history of HIV infection diagnosed 7 years ago, with poor adherence to antiretroviral therapy (ART), in poor immune status (CD4 + T lymphocyte count: 71 cells / µL and viral load: 432,837 copies/ml). He consulted for an ulcerovegente erythematous lesion, with irregular borders, which involved the hard and soft palate, predominantly on the left side of 7 months of evolution, painless, accompanied by mobile bilateral submaxillary adenopathy, fever, asthenia and productive cough. There were no other lesions in the rest of the dermatological physical examination.
