Acrylate occupational contact dermatitis

Irritative and allergic contact dermatitis are the most frequent occupational dermatoses.
Acrylate and methacrylate are monomers used for synthesize acrylic plastics. They are used in orthopedic surgery, dentistry, printing and beauty industries. Acrylate contact dermatitis is common in dentists and its prevalence is increasing. We present the case of a female dentist with Occupational Contact Dermatitis related to the use of acrylates in her profession.
