Abstract

Pancreatic panniculitis is a rare disease constituted by lesions with subcutaneous fat necrosis, associated with some type of pancreatic disease. We report the case of a 60-year-old woman hospitalized for acute pancreatitis and cholangitis. At the time of admission, she presented a dermatosis localized in lower limbs, characterized by erythematous and painful nodules. The histopathology reported cytosteatonecrosis. She required one month of antibiotic therapy with good evolution and improvement of the skin lesions.
