Abstract

Nevus of Ota presents as unilateral dark blue, brown or grayish macula. It affects the face and is distributed along the trigeminal nerve path. Currently the treatment of choice are Q-switched lasers, including 1064 nm neodymium-doped yttrium aluminium garnet (QS Nd:YAG).We present six patients with Ota nevus, treated with 1064 nm Nd:YAG QS laser, with improvement, good tolerance and without adverse effects.
