Abstract

Superficial extensive melanoma (MES) is the most common histopathological variant of melanoma in our population. In recent years, its incidence has had a significant increase. It develops mainly in areas of intermittent sun exposure and frequently in patients with a high number of nevi or atypical nevus syndrome. The mutation in the BRAF V600 E gene is the most frequently detected.
