Abstract

Gastric bypass is a surgical technique for the treatment of restrictive and malabsorptive type morbid obesity. It is widely used because of its low morbidity and mortality and good long-term results, al-though gastrointestinal and extraintestinal complications, includ-ing neutrophilic dermatoses such as arthritis-dermatitis syndrome, have been associated. We report a patient who developed arthri-tis-dermatitis syndrome after gastric bypass surgery for obesity treatment.
