Abstract

Eccrine porocarcinoma is a rare malignant tumor that originates in the intraepidermal portion of the eccrine sweat gland or acrosyringium. It mainly affects older people and the most common location is lower extremities. The porocarcinoma is epi-dermotropic when atypical cells proliferate and distribute within the epidermis with a pagetoid pattern (epidermotropic eccrine porocarcinoma). There are few cases reported in the literature. The treatment of choice is surgical excision with wide margins (3-5 mm). We present two patients with an eccrine epidermotropic porocarcinoma located in the head.
