Abstract

Telemedicine is the provision of medical services at a distance. The fact that dermatology is a fundamentally visual specialty, coupled with the advance of new communication technologies, have favored a rapid and extensive development of teledermatology worldwide over recent years. There are various methods and modalities for the use of teledermatology, and its scope covers a wide spectrum from clinical dermatology to dermoscopy and histopathology.
