Urticaria y COVID-19

La urticaria es una enfermedad caracterizada por el desarrollo de habones o ronchas (pápulas o placas, eritematosas y evanescentes), angioedema o ambos, que afecta entre el 0,3% y el 20% de la población mundial. Como en el caso de muchas otras enfermedades, su epidemiología, manifestaciones clínicas, diagnóstico y manejo han sufrido cambios en el contexto de la pandemia de COVID-19 y merecen consideraciones ante la implementación de vacunas contra el SARS-CoV-2. El objetivo de este trabajo de actualización fue recopilar la información comunicada hasta la fecha sobre la relación entre esta patología inflamatoria y esta enfermedad viral.
