Bullous pemphigoid (BP) is the most frequent subepidermal autoimmune bullous disease. Its typical manifestation is the presence of tense blisters with serous and/or hemorrhagic content that develop over urticarial plaques. We report four patients diagnosed with bullous pemphigoid presenting lesions arranged in a string-of-pearls distribution. This distribution is often reminiscent of linear IgA dermatosis. We highlight this as an atypical manifestation of bullous pemphigoid.
