Abstract

Lichen planus is a benign inflammatory disease with characteristic clinical and histopathological findings. In addition to the classic form, it presents multiple clinical variants of low prevalence whose knowledge and identification is very important to reach for a correct diagnosis and treatment. We describe three patients with atypical clinical presentations of lichen planus pigmentosus-inversus, annular and pemphigoides, and conducted a literature review.
