Abstract

Granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA) or Wegener´s granulomatosis is a vasculitis associated with anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (ANCA). It is characterized by necrotizing granulomatous vasculitis of upper and lower respiratory tract, glomerulonephritis and small vessels vasculitis of variable degree. Up to fifty percent of patients have skin involvement. There are limited forms without glomerulonephritis that despite having a better prognosis can be very destructive at mucocutaneous level, generating severe disfiguring sequels, so it is important to know this variant of the disease for its diagnosis and early treatment. Two cases of GPA limited variety are presented and a bibliographic review is conducted.
