Cutaneous sporotrichosis is a fungal infection caused by the dimorphic fungal complex Sporothrix schenckii. It has traditionally been described in men with occupations related to gardening or agriculture; however, its incidence in children has been increasing, with the face and upper extremities being the most commonly affected sites. We present the clinical case of pediatric cutaneous sporotrichosis with an atypical location. We describe some dermoscopic findings and the use of cryotherapy associated with itraconazole with good clinical outcomes.
