Abstract

It corresponds to a newborn male, 37.5 weeks of gestational age, with adequate weight, the product of a vaginal delivery, with no relevant perinatological or family history. The neonatology service requested consultation with our service because the patient had a congenital skin tumor lesion. On physical examination, a single skin-colored tumor was observed, located in the left temporal area, measuring 2 × 2 cm in diameter. On palpation, it was mobile, had a hard-elastic consistency, and did not change with increased pressure. His facial features were normal and no other alterations were found on inspection.
