Rejuvenecimiento de manos con láser

Resumen

El rostro y las manos son habitualmente las primeras áreas en donde los signos clínicos de fotoenvejecimiento –como lentigos solares, pérdida de elasticidad de la piel y arrugas finas–se hacen evidentes.
Presentamos 14 pacientes atendidos en el Centro de Investigaciones Dermatológicas (CID) entre julio de 2009 y diciembre de 2010, a los que les realizamos fotorrejuvenecimiento de manos con láser Neodymium Yttrium Aluminum Garnet (Nd:YAG) Q-switched de 532 nm,
combinado con láser de dióxido de carbono (CO2) fraccionado en diez pacientes y con Erbium Yttrium Aluminiun Garnet (Er:YAG) fraccionado en cuatro pacientes. La discromía y la texturade la piel mejoraron en todos ellos. Consideramos que el tratamiento láser combinado es una
muy buena opción terapéutica disponible para el fotoenvejecimiento de manos

Laser rejuvenation of the hands

Abstract

The face and the hands usually are the first areas where signs of photoaging, such as solar lentigenes, loss of skin elasticity and fine wrinkles become evident.
We present fourteen patients from Centro de Investigaciones Dermatológicas (CID) treated for hand rejuvenation between July 2009 and December 2010. All patients were treated with Nd:YAG Q-switched 532 nm laser which was combined with fractional carbon dioxide
(CO2) laser in ten cases and fractional Er:YAG in four cases. Dyscromia and skin texture improved in all patients.
We believe that the combination of Nd:YAG Q-switched 532 nm with fractional laser is a very good option and is currently available for the treatment of hand photoaging
